Description
Enclomiphene is a Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator (SERM) that has been shown to increase total Testosterone levels in males suffering from secondary hypogonadism. Enclomiphene is one of two stereoisomers found in Clomiphene (Clomid) and is thought to have a greater positive contribution towards increasing Luteinizing Hormone (LH) and Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) when compared to Zuclomiphene. Many suggest that the Zuclomiphene portion of Clomiphene is responsible for some of the undesirable side effects that can come from Clomid monotherapy. As a result, Enclomiphene is an increasingly interesting compound for its possible application as an alternative to Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) which typically requires treatment either via injection (Testosterone Depot) or by a topical gel.
Enclomiphene is non-steroidal and targets specific estrogen receptors in the body, blocking the effects of estrogen on those particular tissues while allowing its effects in others. Enclomiphene stimulates the production of testosterone endogenously in the testes by increasing the brain signaling hormones LH and FSH. In this way, Enclomiphene further differs from traditional Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) as it aides the body in producing more of its own natural testosterone, rather than shutting down endogenous production and replacing it with exogenous hormones.
Current research indicates that Enclomiphene has a significantly lower side effect profile than Clomid monotherapy, and it may have fewer side effects than testosterone replacement therapy, however further research is required before the compound can be brought to market as a medication for human use.
Concentration
This analytical standard contains 12.5 milligrams of Enclomiphene per milliliter (12.5mg/mL) with a total of 30 milliliters per bottle. Each bottle therefore contains 375 milligrams of highly pure Enclomiphene.
Formulation
This analytical standard is a liquid solution containing DMSO (5%), Ethanol (10%), Enclomiphene (12.5mg/mL) and PEG-400 for volume.
Disclaimer
Analytical standards produced by Renewal Research are not meant for use in humans. Enclomiphene is offered for research purposes only, and at no point should be considered medication. Researchers should practice general laboratory safety procedures when it comes to handling of this product, taking care to note its formulation.
